A Barn, a Red Tractor, and 1,628 Photos: BASF at FFA

Our Tap & Pose booth with printed strips was the most popular BASF stop at the Indiana Convention Center

A group of students in navy jackets crowded in front of a barn. One held a sunflower. One wore sunglasses. Someone swung a shovel. The booth snapped, and a printed photo strip slid out the side.

Then the next group stepped up.

BASF wanted a trip back in time

BASF brought three activations to the FFA event at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis. Their theme was Then, Next, and Now. The "Then" activation was ours.

We built it around an old farm. There was a printed barn backdrop with a silo and a wheat field. We added straw hats, bonnets, overalls, plaid shirts, sunflowers, a milk can, and a bright red toy tractor.

BASF asked us to give every photo an old-fashioned look. We added a warm, vintage filter. Guests looked like they stepped out of a farm portrait from long ago.

Tap & Pose with prints

We ran our Tap & Pose selfie booth. Guests tapped the screen, struck a pose, and got their photo right away. Then the printer did its job. Every guest got a printed BASF photo strip to take home.

That strip was a big deal. People wanted one. They compared them, traded them, and held them up for friends.

The numbers

  • 3 days at the Indiana Convention Center
  • 1,628 uploads from guests
  • Printed strips for guests who wanted one

The most popular stop

BASF told us the photo booth was the most popular activation of the three. Some students and staff were so busy at the booth that they never made it to the other two.

We were glad to be the first stop.

The moments we loved

  • The farm portrait. One guest in overalls and a straw hat posed with a shovel and a framed award. Dead serious. Perfect.
  • The wig group. A crew in bright wigs and heart sunglasses laughed so hard they fell into the frame.
  • The big group. A whole row of students in matching jackets squeezed in with sunflowers and sunglasses.

Want a booth at your trade show?

A booth works best when it fits your story. BASF gave us a theme. We built it into the backdrop, the props, the look of every photo, and the strip guests carried home.

If your company has a booth at a conference, convention, or trade show in Indianapolis, we can do the same. Branded frames, printed strips, instant sharing, and a trained attendant come with your booking.
