A big red mascot in a baseball jersey ran at our camera. He leaned in close, threw his arms wide, and danced.
The whole line cheered.
Walking for St. Jude
On September 26, 2026, walkers gathered at White River State Park in downtown Indianapolis for the St. Jude Walk. It was a bright, sunny morning. Volunteers wore red shirts. Walkers wore pink shirts and race bibs. There were cornhole boards and red-and-white tents on the lawn.
We set up our overhead 360 video booth on the grass. Every video got a red "St. Jude Walk Indianapolis" frame with a yellow wave at the bottom.
Hashtags and a news report
Guests grabbed signs that said "#VIRAL" and "#TRENDING." One woman held a toy microphone and gave a very serious news report. Two volunteers in pink shirts posed back to back. A woman in a gold St. Jude cap pointed straight at the lens.
This was a smaller crowd than some of our walks. We think this walk will keep growing, and we hope to be there every year.
The moments we loved
- The mascot. Big red, big energy, big dance moves.
- The news report. A toy microphone and a "#VIRAL" sign.
- The volunteers. Red shirts, sparkly hats, and big smiles.

Planning a walk or a fundraiser?
A booth gives walkers something fun to do before or after the walk. It also gives your sponsors a frame with their name on it. No platform to climb, so every walker can join.
